Just about every time Peter and/or Jeter play out, once the crowd loosens up to one degree or another, they make requests: Sometimes reasonable, sometimes absolutely insane. One such request at this show was for the song "Midnight Train to Georgia," by Gladys Knight and the Pips, made by the perhaps slightly inebrated owner of these attractive feet.
"Have you heard lots of other bands with male singers doing that song?" asked Peter.
"Well no, but it's the BEST song!" replied slightly inebriated foot-owner.
In a way, such requests are flattering, since the people making them obviously think the performers have such an amazingly unlimited amount of talent that surely ANY song, whether the band has learned it, practiced it or even heard it or not, is possible.
I wanna be in that band!!
